ConsulTech Purchases LanWerks

ConsulTech, a Bloomington-based technology services firm, announced today that it has purchased the assets of LanWerks LLC and hired David Smith, LanWerks' chief network engineer.
“We are very pleased to have the opportunity to provide service to the LanWerks clients. LanWerks helps companies provide high-quality living spaces to residents of Monroe County", stated Patrick Casey, ConsulTech CEO. LanWerks customers include Continental Terrace, Deer Park Management, Evans Scholars Fraternity, Omega Properties, Pavilion Properties, Phi Delta Theta, and Renaissance Rentals. Casey added, "The only changes LanWerks customer see should be positive there will be a larger team of technology professional supporting them." ConsulTech will honor LanWerks existing service contracts and rates.

Prior to LanWerks, Smith served as Network Engineer and LAN Division Manager with BlueMarble Telecom, and as Automation Manager for the Monroe County Public Library.
